With my first post I figured I show my bias. Let the people out there know who I think is the best fighters at each weight class. There are websites out there who can offer up there own views of who is #1 and why, but this is my list. So without further adieu...

Heavyweight

#1 - Brock Lesnar

This guy is a freak. Strength, speed, and size. He has it all except a jiu-jitsu base. But that can be taught, the Herculean body this man was blessed with can't.

 #2 - Frank Mir

There's no doubt that Frank is one of the best jiu-jitsu artists at the heavyweight level. Good on his feet and decent grappling put him close, but not that close the Lesnar's level.

#3 - Minotauro Nogueira

In my opinion, Nogueira's jiu-jitsu is better than Mir's, but obviously his stand up isn't. I want to put Nogueira above Mir personally, but aftertheir last fight, there's no argument here.

To those out there who have turned on Jay Cutler, I ask you to consider you're reasoning. He's too proud, he's not mature enough, he's like a spoiled kid. Jay Cutler is 25, going into his third real season leading the Broncos and his first two were pretty damn good considering he took over his rookie season. To judge him so harshly or characteristics that we all have within us is wrong. Think about the football side of it.

Last season I saw Jay Cutler make some throws that I would have thought impossible. I also saw him throw some balls into double and triple coverage and get picked off in crucial situations. But what stood out was the fact that he can make the throw. You know what I'm saying. Comparisons in this town are inevitable, so here's mine. Elway made you believe that when he had it in his hands, he could make the throw. Fact is Denver, sometimes, he didn't. But we worship him for the throws that he DID make. Jay Cutler has never had a team surrounding him near the ones Elway took to his Super Bowls. But he has made the throw. We in Denver that see the potential in Cutler aren't afraid if we're down 5 with only three minutes left in the game. If he get's the chance, he can make the throw.
