Mike Shanahan's year to prove posted on 08/28/2008
This is the year that Mike Shanahan needs to prove that he is a good coach.  There has been too many years recently that he has got a pass on what ever happened.  It is time for him to prove that he is the Super Bowl winning coach that everyone views him as.  Those Super Bowls were 10 years ago now, it is time to let those go and maybe view them as a team that won and not a coach.  What has Mike Shanahan done with out John Elway?  The answer is absolutely nothing.  One playoff win in this decade, that is unacceptable.  This years team could have a chance to be good.  The offense is there, but what will the play calling be like.  The defense is questionable, and this may be the down fall of this team.  This is the year for Mike Shanahan to s
